Dr. Thomas R. Yarema Thomas Yarema M.D. is medical director of Center for Wellness & Integrative Medicine, in Soquel, California. Dr. Yarema is a pioneer in the field of Integrative Medicine and remains committed to bridging the best of all systems of medicine. After retiring from 12 years of full-time practice of Emergency Medicine in 1996, Dr Tom began a private practice employing tools from Allopathy, Ayurveda, Acupuncture, and Traditional Oriental Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, and Environmental Medicine. He is Board Certified in Holistic Medicine, and Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine. He is a co-formulator for Health and Wellness products with international sales of over $100M, and a sought-after public speaker/educator, sharing the stage with individuals such as Deepak Chopra and Tony Robbins. In 2011, he founded the internet’s first ‘virtual clinic’ directed towards the reversal of stubborn midsection fat, the expanding epidemic of obesity, and the chronic conditions associated with accelerated aging—the Get Your Body Back Program, serving hundreds of patients to date. Dr. Yarema lives in Aptos with his wife and two children.
Daniel Rhoda Daniel Rhoda D.A.S (Ayurveda), a certified Ayurvedic practitioner and associate of Kerala Ayurveda, worked on Wall Street before a debilitating joint condition led him to Kauai at age 24. His personal journey allowed him to study with leading Ayurvedic physicians and Native American healers from around the world. Daniel taught courses in Ayurveda and served as a consultant within the nutritional industry. Dan was in the final stages of attaining his PhD in Clinical/Transpersonal Psychology when he passed away September, 2013. Yet, the brilliance of his passion for holistic healing and for helping others lives on because of his work on this book.
Chef Johnny Brannigan

Chef Johnny Brannigan is an internationally trained Ayurvedic chef with more than 30 years of experience in the food industry. Johnny has created an Ayurvedic-inspired snack line in the United Kingdom and cooked at The Raj, the top-rated Ayurvedic spa and retreat in the United States. He has taught meditation for more than 25 years and traveled the world in search of new recipes. Johnny currently lives in Southern California and travels the U.S. teaching courses in Ayurvedic cooking and meditation.
